Why do Republicans insist on being Politically Correct about the effect of Bush's War on Oil Prices?

All the Republicans and their mouthpieces in the Corporate Media talk about the raise in gas prices being caused by low supplies.

Bush's war in Iraq has tripled gas prices by disrupting global oil supplies.

Iraqi output has stayed below the level that it was since Bush started his war.

Why do the Republicans insist on being politically correct rather than facing up to the fact that Bush's war is responisible for record gas prices? Why do Republicans insist on being Politically Correct about the effect of Bush's War on Oil Prices?

well, your question presupposes an idea that is false. i guess that's how you try to make your point and still technically ask a question... anyway, i think the war in iraq has had very tiny effect on prices at the pump, if any at all. and i'm no supporter of bush or this war, and i sure as heck ain't a supporter of any democrat.
Can you tell us in detail how the war has caused the prices to go up? And give references and links explaining how. Not just your opinion
