There are laws stopping ';small oil';. ';Big oil'; is made of government protected monopolies, which holds up false market value. No competition.





Democrats argue for environmental controls, which stop small oil from even starting. Republicans argue for more drilling, but that drilling would only be done by the same old monopolies. Therefore, they both support the same thing - government protected monopolies.
The democrats (envirowhackonuts) want high fuel prices in order to gain more control over the masses. They will use the higher costs to drive lower wage earners, especially in the west, out of rural areas and into the cities At 4-5 bucks a gallon it gets expensive to drive 10-30 miles to work. Most easterners have no idea just how huge the west is. It is very common for people to drive 20 miles each way to and from work. Gang Green know this and will exploit he rising fuel prices.
By the way as a democrat I can officially say that NOT all democrats think the way that the POLITICIANS do so my answer to you is.

Politicians want us distracted by dividing us into groups, hoping that we forget that we can always write in our vote for someone we feel better represents us to the world.





Here's the solution, realize that WE THE PEOPLE are the government and take it back. If you want school reform start with your local school districts. If you want better oil prices, stop using personal transportation use more public transportation, don't have a lot of public transportation in your area carpool.





Quit relying on the Politicians and start doing the dirty work.

Hope everyone is stocking up on groceries because of the high oil prices, loss of over 4 mil acres of corn and wheat due to flooding, ranchers slaughtering their livestock because they can't afford to feed them. News said today that utilitity bills are going up 20% plus your income tax on your paycheck will go back to where it was before the tax cuts.

And the poor never did ';clog up'; the roads. All the poorer people I have known have no car or a fairly crappy one at that. They were unable to afford gas a long long time ago. This time around it's not affecting them at all since they've already had to deal with it.

Many poor don't own cars, in fact those who are on welfare have strict limits on what their transportation can be.

They need to destroy a system of individual decision making through the need for big government. Pushing the average American out of the personal vehicle market is necessary to have everybody depend on the Government for everything.
