When the economy eventually recovers, will oil prices sky rocket again?

I used to live in a town back in 98 that had a very interesting 6 weeks that year. Turns out a oil refinery nearby had had a large over production and we saw gas prices in the 70 cent range.





No one else i talked to saw this happening around the state.





I know we wont see that or anywhere near it





but i sure would hate to be 2 dollar one day and 4 the next.When the economy eventually recovers, will oil prices sky rocket again?
oil prices will follow the market





any recovery shown by the economy will be sucked out by rising oil prices





any further fall will be accompanied by a continued down crawl of oil prices
