Is it likely that the Saudis will ever reduce oil prices and cut out their new billions of profit?

every eastern block country is now making trillions more so will they give up the new profits? or?Is it likely that the Saudis will ever reduce oil prices and cut out their new billions of profit?
The global market sets oil prices, not the Saudi's.Is it likely that the Saudis will ever reduce oil prices and cut out their new billions of profit?
Not for a while and I wish Bush would stop going over there pretending like he is trying to convince them to do so. Everybody knows he is buddies with them and this benefits both families.

Unfortunately, the US ending the policy of sending oil into strategic reserves will not help either until our government starts holding the head of large oil companies accountable.

There were no legitimate reasons for so many oil companies to merge when Bush got in office except for greed.
Saudi Arabia and the members of OPEC are controlling the amount of oil coming out of the pipeline precisely so that they can reap maximum profit. Highly unlikely to for OPEC or Saudi to call for any change at the moment.

All Oil distributors and retailers are reaping windfall profits even the U.S. govt. with increased gas taxes.
I do not think that GWB really asked them to increase production. RWR got them to agree to increase production as part of the strategy to defeat the USSR in Afghanistan, but GHWB (Veep) tried to block what RWR had agreed with them. RWR rebuked GHWB. Accordingly, Texas went into a deep recession.
Of course not. Since we've enabled the Chinese to afford oil at any price, they're not going to sell it to us for less, are they?

The global market sets the price? Sort of, but OPEC controls the supply and can move the price at will.
Well the Saudis do not set the price of oil!! Oil is sold on the open market!! All they could do is pump more oil.
It's not the Saudis

Its the greedy oil companies and American policies that are driving the oil high
Why should they? Our government makes $71,500,000.00 a day off motor fuel taxes!
Dunno, go ask them.
they are all trying to break this country.
No, don't be silly! Bush has promised them all of our money!
Heh heh. Its an ill wind... (The UK is an oil exporting country !)
